Deniz Miizesi, (The Naval Museum). Models of ancient ships, plans of dockyards, maps, charts and similar naval relics. At Dolmabahge.

Open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Belediye Miizesi, (Istanbul Municipal Museum) housing sec tions as ‚Å“The Bosphorus in 17th and 18th centuries”, ‚Å“The Dervish Orders‚, ‚Å“Istanbul Yesterday‚, ‚Å“Istanbul Today‚, etc.

Address : The Medresse of Gazanferaga, Atatiirk Bulvan. Open : All days other than Thursday.

Realm ve Heykel Miizesi, (The Museum of Painting and Sculpture), the gallery of Turkish art in Ottoman period and Republican regime. In the Dolmabahge Palace. (Temporarily closed).

Yerebatan Sarayi, (The Sunken Palace), the Byzantine cistern near Saint Sophia. It was built by Emperor Justinianus in sixth century. It has 336 pillars. One of the biggest Byzantine cistern of Istanbul, it is the only one which still contains water.

Near Sultanahmet Mosque.
