If you’re planning a trip to Provence-France, there are a few things you should avoid doing if you want the best possible experience. Here are some of the region’s most popular tourist traps:

1. Don’t visit Sète just for its Roman ruins. The city is also home to some beautiful medieval architecture, like the Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes), which is now a museum.

Tips for your next trip to Provence

If you’re planning a trip to Provence, there are a few things you should know in order to make the most of your time there. Here are some tips for making the most of your trip:

-Start by deciding what interests you. There’s plenty to see and do in Provence, from soaking up the local culture at a medieval village festival, to hiking through stunning mountain ranges.

-Consider when to go. Provence is a great place to visit all year round, but during summer months, it can be especially lush and vibrant with colourful flowers and lively street life. And during winter, the area can be charmingly tranquil – perfect for enjoying wine tastings or skiing in the mountains.

-Take advantage of local transportation options. Provencal buses and trains are very affordable and can take you anywhere you want to go without having to spend a fortune on taxis or car rentals. Plus, they’re often more scenic than driving yourself around.

-Be prepared for hot weather. Provence can be quite hot in summer – make sure you pack some Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and waterproofing spray. -If you already have a car, don’t worry about taking it with you. Provence is one of the few places in Europe that has free parking everywhere and there are even places to park for free if you’re just visiting for some shopping or sightseeing.

This is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but don’t go too far! It’s easy to get lost in a small village in Provence! On my first night I stopped at a small restaurant/bar by the side of the road where I asked them to direct me back to my hotel, which they did no problem.
