Most of our pets sleep indoors, sometimes under sheets and blankets. Some pets even sleep on their backs with their feet in the air, mimicking their masters, complete with such sound effects as snoring.
Outdoor Dogs. For the indoor dog a good temperature to maintain is about 65 degrees. For the outdoor dog, if the temperature goes down into the 20’s or even below zero, so long as he is protected from the wind and drafts and has good bedding, he will stay warm and snug. Few breeds of outdoor dogs need their living quarters heated.
