A typical Manx cat is smallish, bullet-headed, with a gentle, un-catlike expression, hind legs three sizes too large, and a dimple where its tail would be if it had one. In England, Manx travel with cats are forthrightly called Rumpys, and fanciers strive to breed them rumpier and rumpier.
Quite frequently Manx travel with cats disgrace themselves by having kittens with tails of sorts, usually peculiar. The good folk of the Isle of Man do their best to remedy this by docking the kittens’ tails and selling the docked kittens to happy trippers as genuine Manx travel with cats.
