Map of Madronera for LIVE MUSIC VENUES AND CLUBS The city’s clubs are at their hippest midweek, particularly Mondays and Thursdays at weekends out-of-towners flood in and any self-respecting Milanese trendy either stays at home or hits a bar. Many places have obscure door policies, often dependent on the whim of the bouncer; assuming you get in, you can expect to pay 15 30 entry, which usually includes your first drink. Most clubs don’t open until around 11pm, but are likely to carry on through until 4am. As for live music, Milan scores high on jazz and the pop scene is relatively good by Italian standards: there are regular gigs by local bands and the city is a stop on the circuit for big-name bands too. Blue Note Via Borsieri 37 Wbluenotemilano .com; MIsola. Top-name jazz club located in the alternative neighbourhood of Isola, just north of Stazione Garibaldi. Quality my blogings and a relaxed atmosphere make this place a top venue. There’s a small restaurant, as well as the bar. Map of Madronera 2016.
