Political Map of Japan
She describes the microsystem level as the daily, direct interactions parents have in each of these areas work, family, and community. She also describes the mesosystem level as the interrelationships between the areas the mesosystems of work– family, work–community, family–community, and work–family–community. We see the interrelationships of the areas in this example: the shift from a manufacturing economy to a technology-information-based economy requires workers to have more education, so workers spend more time in school, start stable work later, marry later, and have children later. So work changes impact family life. Conversely, family life influences work participation.
